JOB DESCRIPTION: Studio KMD is currently accepting applications for part time interns to join our team this Spring. Interns will be working as part of the KMD Team helping with a variety of internal and external projects and with the daily operations of our new 8700 sq ft studio. Although Industrial Design is a key focus of our business, we encourage creative minds from any background to apply and explain why it would be advantageous to have them on our team.
HOURS/AVAILABILITY: Interns will work 15-20 per week. Scheduling is flexible and daytime and evening hours are available. Interns must have reliable transportation to our new studio in Gloucester City, NJ, just over the Walt Whitman Bridge.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Every member of the KMD team has different areas and levels of expertise. In joining our team, you’ll bring your own unique set of skills and life experiences that add to the diversity of our team. We also expect you to adapt and adjust to help fill a gap wherever you can.
COMPENSATION: Interns will be paid hourly as independent contractors. Hourly wage will be determined according to your skill set and level of experience.

BACKGROUND:
Studio KMD is a small design and prototyping studio based in NJ right over the Walt Whitman Bridge from Philadelphia. The creative minds and diverse experiences of the staff at Studio KMD allow us to tackle projects that blur the lines between Industrial Design and other disciplines. We develop products internally and for a variety clients in a myriad of industries; and we are excited to be expanding our facilities and our team.
